This sounds like an awful thing to have. At some point, it's going to get life threatening if not taken care of. Get better, Gronk, so Rchardson can clobber you.

Great idea letting Welker go btw. That 3rd year he asked for was sooooo excessive.

The only issue is if they operate and find the infection still there, in that case it will require a 5th surgery. Hospitals are the worst place to be, I'm an EMT and I avoid them like the plague when I can, if I'm sick that's the last place I'm going unless it's absolutely required. The viruses and bacteria in those places are brutal.

If there's still an infection upon this surgery, it's a big-time problem for Gronk. This surgery was already scheduled.

I don't know how much of his partying/wrestling led to this but it sure as hell didn't help. He deserves all of the criticism for his behavior during rehab. But what led to what, if anything, is just speculation. There's reason to believe he will be 100% to go on day 1, and for Pats fans, that's good enough until we hear otherwise.

It's early May and there will be plenty more information to come.

big reason he was around in the second round. i have been saying it all along that he never stays on the field. everyone was so concerned on jarvis jones neck but gronk had something with his neck and missed a bunch of games. then had a knee miseed games. Now a pro missing games no doubt he is a qualityu player when on the field but as we know watching Keller last year being hurt and in and out its just a wasted spot. seeing pics of gronk he looks like he is down 25lbs at least this is some really serious stuff a bone infection could be deadly so i am sure he is not doing any juice right now. jim miller on nfl network had it in his shoulder and collar bone and said it was 5 weeks of hell on those iv antibotics it takes a big toll on your body. he thought even if all goes well from here on out that gronk would have a hard time starting the season

He could cut it off and he'd still torment us, lol.

In all seriousness, best of luck to the guy.

Those hard IV antibiotics seriously f you up. Even once the infection is cleared it can be a long while until you feel right again - GI issues, strength, stamina.

No doubt. I knew someone who developed peripheral neuropathy in her hands and feet after a series of IV antibiotics. Her feet and hands hurt in cold weather and tingled all the time. It was very painful.

In other news, Gronk's a tool.
