Find Italian store that sells sausage and peppers meal next to a bar, problem solved. You will have great food and a buzz, everything after is gravy.

Real Italians don't call it gravy

Anything would be better than some supermarket brand sausage imho
I probably wont be able to make it to any such place within the next 24 hours, so I'll have to make do.
No plans on adding red sauce to it.

Right? I don't know what the stigma is with green peppers, but Ive always seen it used.

I'm starting to think real Italians only exist on TV.

Unlike lazily and incorrectly calling sauce gravy, there is no stigma, just a matter of flavour preference
A green pepper is usually an unripened yellow> orange> red pepper.
It is less sweet and cheaper and very commonly used.

And again, Acme-Lancaster and Stop & Shop (supermarket brand)
sausage is Premio. You can tell by Inspection/Production Codes

Just like Stop & Shop Egg Nog = Hood, and Pathmark Iced Tea Mix = 4C
you can save a few bucks and not lose quality with a little sleuthing.

Albanians and "Roma" fool non-Italians all the time.

Then it looks like I've got Premio then.
I've got pretty pedestrian tastes (Eastern European descent) in general, so Im sure it will be fine.

My wife I love Mushrooms, so our own ovariant is "Red peppers, Yellow/Green Peppers, Mushrooms and Onions".
Is your wife no longer an herbivore then, Fish? Or does she omit the sausage portion of your freshly prepared dish?
