How abut dipping a toe in the Offensive side of the pool Rex?
I will never be a fan of such a one sided approach to coaching.

ITS PRE,PRESEASON, GET IN THERE REX!!!

Marty Mornhinweg tutoring two-fifths of the Jets' so-called QB competition. #Jets

I really think Rex is gonna lean heavily on Marty to take care of the O....

He was cut at the end of preseason, then brought back after the season ended. He's basically a camp arm, nothing else.

I think my point is valid.

If Rex is going to be a HC that has a hands off approach on Offense, then his Defense had better play better than the past 2 seasons.

You mean like most coordinators turned HC?

Why on earth is it better to have a defensive guru/mind dipping a toe in the Offensive side of the pool?

Only in NY, with Rex is this an issue.

Geno can spin it. Tight spiral, good velocity on quick slants. Working on basic footwork, pass drops. #Jets

Rex is responsible for all aspects of the team. If he is not, he should be.

If he only wants to coach Defense, it needs to be better than the past 2 seasons if he hopes to base his success as a HC on that alone.

This isn't news. He's not going to participate till training camp due to his shoulder injury.

    And let the negativity begin...

SethWalderNYDN: Geno just threw a very Tebow pass: sailed over the receiver in the flat. #nyj

    These pricks are worthless.

Early Mornhinweg observation: If a receiver drops a pass, they run the same play again until he catches it. #Jets

    Jeez...

An incomplete pass in rookie camp to a guy he probably just met today. We should probably just cut Geno now and be done with it...

Yea he overthrew a rookie receiver who wasn't even drafted and automatically blame Geno. I get it.
