    Signs of life?

Nice to see. Offense has picked up the slack a bit, pitching needs to be much more consistent. Soriano 4 homers and 13 RBI last two days.

Soriano has been on fire but Phil Hughes continues to kill us. He is done why is he even in the rotation?

I remember when Joba Chamberlin looked like he was going to be the terror of the league for the next ten years. Now he's just mediocre middle relief. What happened?

His biggest issue is that he never looks at the ball. He looks at how the players react.

I don't think he can even see the players out there anymore, he can't even accurately describe what actions they are taking as balls sail out there. To me he's a self-absorbed old man who believes his schtick is equal to the game. Problem is, its unacceptable to jerk around the home listeners with faux calls he later has to retract after Waldman stage-whispers what actually just happened to him, then he mumbles some asinine excuse. He's pathetic and embarrassing to his profession. At least he isn't a lisping Mary-boy like the Mets new guy, Josh Lewin. He's a hard listen as well.

He doesn't look at the ball because he can't see it.

This is a stupid retort. Who cares about what happened in 1927 in the year 2013. But if this is what makes you feel good about any inadequacies you have so be it. Good thoughts to you.

The irony of this escapes you, huh?
