What a bag of sh!t. What's lost in this is that Tebow was actually paid. While we can criticize the Jets handling of Tebow (they did a sh!tty job), the Jets paid him his salary. They can decide to do whatever the hell they want with him.

And its not like he's some 37 year old washed up player who's lost all his skills - he's still on his rookie deal. If he deserves to be a contributor somewhere, he'll do it. Cream rises to the top. If he was so good, any number of teams will want to bring him onboard. After all, everyone thinks the Jets are a bunch of clowns. They would revel in reclaiming our garbage.

Tisch is an idiot. I bet Wellington Mara is rolling in his grave knowing that this fool owns half his team.

Maybe the Giants owner should spend more time trying to get Cruz resigned and less calling out the Jets.

And when Nassim is wasted sitting behind Eli for years

LOL! For some reason, I can picture that chick doing a liter of horse tranquilizer through a beer bong. Then, calmly going down the street for a Frappuccino®
    like nothing happened.

I can't say I disagree. Last year if nobody traded for him he would get picked up somewhere if cut. Tebow never got a fair shake in NY as evident in the continued devotion to Sanchez by the man that has his wife in his jersey tattooed on his arm. This year he hasn't seen any significant minutes in a whole season.

One start at the Jaguars and/or a stadium in Manhattan would have solved all of this

and LMAO on the "chick doing a liter of horse tranquilizer through a beer bong", it could be her sultry look, just needs some botox in her lips

Tebow is a diva in sheep's clothing. I, and many others, picked up on this before he was even a NY Jet. He's a quarterback by trade, but his skill set says otherwise. If the Jets ruined his career by not letting him play, maybe he should have worked on his mechanics more. He had a reputation for having extremely poor practices, loved talking to the media (what backup QB talks to the media more than the starter?), and didn't seem very focused. It's not as if he lit it up in practice and was denied. They skipped over him in favor of McElroy.

If other teams want him, where were the trade offers? Crickets all off season up until and after his release.

Yes, the Jets shouldn't have traded for him, but when they did young Tim a chance to play like a QB, fix his mechanics and show that he could be a QB. He couldn't even start when things were at their worst.

Blame Woody all you want. It's fair to do so.

    Blame Tebow more.

The reality is that Elway ruined his career - it was well known that Elway was not a fan of Tebow and thought he could never be a franchise QB - that was his kiss of death.

Clearly teams don't think he's very talented.... the idea that the Jets, the Broncos, or anyone else "ruined his career" is silly. Even if he was in a bad situation, it's not like a player with talent would lose his ability to have value, if teams thought he had a lot of value, he'd be signed already. Some team may take a chance on him at some point, after all there are a lot of players still out there in free agency. Clearly if teams thought he was very good, he'd be signed already.

    And we have a winner. Tebow came to NY with John Elway on his private jet. His family & agents saw NY dollar signs. I wish him luck where ever he lands. (-;

By your logic, I guess that means that 32 NFL GMs/Teams all think Dwight Freeny and Brian Urlacher suck or have no value?

We are at a time in Free Agency where there is normally a lull. Teams want to see what their younger guys can do along with the guys they picked up in the draft.

Imagine the uproar if Woody was talking to TMZ about another team's handling of a player....

Not only that but he could have been had for a conditional 7th round pick in 2020 if a team wanted to trade for him. Its not like Tebow has only been available since he was cut, the Jets have been trying to get rid of him since the beginning of March.
