i don't know how many wins they'll have, but i do know that they'll have many losses.
But, we must accept this sort of a season while re-building.
I say if they're gonna stink, then let's hope for a top 3 draft pick

8-8 for now. Once we can see the QB and O-line play, it adjusts because it all hinges on that. Defense will be solid, as always, it depends on the offense.

Good o-line play, add a win.

Good QB play, add one more.

    Average o-line play, same.

    Average QB play, same.

Bad o-line play, like last year, minus 1.

Bad QB play, like last year, minus 1 more.

QB play will be affected by o-line play, but I use the formula above as a general guide.

If the Jets manage more than 10 wins (which is a pipe dream to begin with) with miraculous play and everything going right, then I won't know or understand what the hell is going on anymore.

Start off with 3 wins before the break. Then go 6-1 the rest of the way.

We are worse than last year ... 4-12 ... At least we are headed in the right direction

I'll go 9-7, but I think 10 wins is possible if Sanchez or Garrard is the starter, and the team stays healthy.

If Smith wins the job, a rookie QB, tough right now to predict more than 8 wins.

with outright awful qb play they won 6 and they may have been able to squeeze out a couple more if they didn't fold so badly in midseason. with mediocre qb play maybe 10, good play above 12.

No one ever got anywhere relying on rookies and 1st year starters the way we're going to next year. They're talented players, but they'll make a ton of errors due to inexperience. The amount of errors will be compounded by the fact that there's no one to cover for them.

I especially think people are underestimating the impacts the holes at safety and tight end will have on our defense and offense. The safeties quarterback the defense, a responsibility that is currently in the hands of Bush and Allen. We're getting ready to throw Geno into the fire with Holmes (maybe), Kerley, and some dumpoff options out of the backfield. A tight end is a young QB's best friend and I wish he had one right now.

"Rebuilding" is an overused term in my opinion. We will either be talented and well coached or we won't. The Jets were "rebuilding" in 2009 when they drafted a rookie QB and hired a new Head Coach who brought in a new system on defense. We went to the AFC Championship Game that year.

10-6, call me crazy, don't care.....I love the backs against the wall, no one expects anything Jets alot more than the favorite Jets

I feel like this can be a 06' or 09' type season

IF one of the QB's can step up, I love our new OC, O-Line, and RB's. Just need to sign one or 2 vets at WR/TE and we'll be OK

Our Defense is going to be awesome in the 09-10 form, and that will keep us in just about every game...No concerns at all on D IMO

Even if we struggle, wins wise, I like the direction this offseason and it should be a fun/interesting year

    I'm cautiously optimistic

The Las Vegas Betting Over/Under line was set at 7 wins last I saw FWIW
