So its injury related. This has "Jets luck" written all over it.

The old man is through. Not terribly surprised by this development.

So in hindsight, it might have been a good thing that we drafted a QB.

So we do look for a veteran backup or stick with Sanchez/Smith/McElroy?

Nah. Jets luck would be watching Garrard win the starting job and then having the injury pop up in September.

Anybody who ever thought he was going to be more than a Mark Brunnel here was crazy.

Garrard is done, has been done.

Sanchez is not going anywhere, yet.

He might win the starting job.

Sanchez-Smith-McElroy is your Week 1 depth chart.

Sanchez starts, and if he hasn't turned it around Geno takes over when playoff chances are gone, maybe sooner if Mark plays like last year.

Agreed...and there was a pretty big contingent of happy Jets fans when we signed him...at least signing plax after not playing for two years he had a little something left

Sanchez will play the difficult games in the beginning of the schedule and Smith will take over at the easier part of the schedule occurs in the last 1/3rd or so.

well well well what a surprise! According to most he was suppose to be awesome.

I always had a feeling this guy would never see the field.

Hopefully we can get back to reality with Sanchez being week 1 starter.

Only 4 clowns left in the QB circus!

    Is Tebow still available?

That could be the real reason! The question is: who will the Jets sign now to battle Sanchez and Geno? maybe McElroy will step up? Its all speculation!
