    Sad news if true

Fortunately the Jets still have three QBs better than Buttfumble6 ready to go in 2013

I was wondering why Phil Simms was the one guy in the media that seemed semi-fair to the Jets last season.

Jets should bring in Trent Edwards.
    OMFG

That guy is horrible. I'd rather bring back Nagle.

The only good thing is that they've already released Tebow. B/c if this happened before the release the Jets may have given it a second thought. Thank Jesus it happened after the release!

Seems like Idzik did a good job doing his research on Garrard when he acquired him lol

or it was a calculated longshot that also provided a valuable smokescreen before the draft

Jet did not "need" a QB going into the draft - Geno falls to 39

Sad but probably true. We still could get lucky though and Smith, McElroy and Simms could have monster OTAs and TC. All three are better QB choices than Buttfumble6 so there is a chance

What did it cost he Jets?

Maybe he gave Garrard had until mid-May to prove he could play full speed.

,credneck is not a qb sorry he needs to go to. I lost all respect for him when he ran his mouth. If you dislike holmes for his crap and like mcredneck then it just shows what type of two faced redneck you are behind the mask of hating Sanchez.
I am all for a change any where we can improve but mcelroy is not an improvement

They sure do need another QB and I have no doubt one will be signed. Jets will go into the season with Sanchez (yuck), Smith + a veteran who is yet to be cut.. perhaps Travaris Jackson. I think McElroy will be a goner.

I agree, this was a bit of a screw up by Idzik.

It cost the Jets the opportunity to sign other free agent QB's (who were scooped up since the draft) or swing a deal for a vet before the draft. If the Jets knew Garrard had a bum knee we could have drafted 2 QB's (like the Redskins did last year) or signed a decent undrafted QB.

Matt Simms is crap and honestly, I don't think a lot of Jets like McElroy. You think it was a coincidence McElroy got sacked 11 times in his one start last season? I think some of the OL intentionally half-a##-ed it bc they don't like him (mainly due to what he said after the 2011 season, how the Jets had an extremely dysfunctional lockeroom).
