    I was 10 or 11 and this was the first album I ever purchased. Bought it at Alexander's in Rego Park (you always remember your first, right?) I still have it today... cracks, pops, skips and all. Until then, it was all 45's.

    Ray's keyboard work on that electric piano of his were unique and wonderful at the time.

    They still are very unique and wonderful...with one or two notes you knew it was Ray

    not too many guys could or can play lead keys and double up on the bassline at the same time all the time
