Hopefully Smith already won the job and Buttfumble6 is given his pink slip in June

It's a clean slate with a new OC, new system, and no excuses.

MS will not play another game for the Jets. He is too toxic!

Anyone who has paid attention to the Woody Johnson regime knows Geno Smith is starting on day 1. It will create far more fan interest than seeing Mark back under center. As someone else said, Mark is toxic right now. The fans want him out. If he starts on day 1, lots of people will stay away. Geno prevents that. Woody's Jets are a business, not a football team.

Geno has to play THIS season so the Jets can find out if he is backup material, or franchise material ... If he is a backup, we will draft a QB in 2014.

It would be hard to be worse than Sanchez was last year. Even if Sanchez is the opening day starter and manages to (indirectly) win us a couple of games, he would have to win a playoff game for us in order to justify his case to remain on the team next year.
