im a mailman and my route is primarily all curbside. i invented my own little tradition on my mail route last year where i hand deliver all mail to every service member on the route, shake his/her hand and thank them for their service. it suprises some, but i feel the gesture has to be made for these exceptional people.
I would add my voice to the appreciation for each day of freedom others have paid for.
An all of the true heroes who paid the ultimate price for that freedom who rest here and around the world, I say, rest easy men & women, you sacrifice will always be treasured and remembered.
I would also ask each and every member here, to personally thank any service person you encounter. Many times you can spot them by the baseball hats which show there service. This is especially important to the Vietnam Nam vets who were treated terribly bad upon there return to the world.
