There were two ways to approach Syria:

    A) The method I would have preferred: stay out of it. I have about as much interest in their civil war as I do the "Borgo got banned" drama.

    B) Go all in, about 2 years ago.

Instead, wishy-washy weakling gets us to where we are now. The aftermath of this are absolutely terrifying prospects.

This Administration is a clone of teh last administration.

While we can argue the validity of the Iraq War continuation, or maybe even the Afghan War (where we were directly attacked), there really is no argument to be made for Libya or Syria. "Humanitarianism" is the only defense for these intrusions, and even then, we're intervening for people who are in no way better than those we're going against.

In effect, we are re-living the "aid the Afghans" that helped create teh circumstances that led to 9/11. We give weapons and help to religious radicals, help them topple their Govt., then watch in apparent shock when those same radicals immediately turn on us, and use our own weapons against us.

At some point, we must learn from these errors in judgement. Isolationism (when it comes to Millitary Actions) is not a bad word. Interventionism is.

    A big +1.

I think she is an absolute idiot, but Palin got it right this time when she said "Let Allah Sort it Out".

Today, Putin has stated Russia will not permit a no fly zone over Syria.
It's seems like he has a "red line" as well as Obama.
Does Obama have the courage to call him on the statement ala Kennedy versus Khrushchev? Interesting: a U.S./Russia armed confrontation? No proxies this time it would seem.
