The fact that the Patriots did virtually nothing to Hernandez until after he was arrested and charged with murder shows just how classless that organization really is.
My thoughts exactly. Not sure how everybody doesn't see it.

    Aaron Hernandez
    THE SMOKING GUM

Prosecutors believe they have a CRUCIAL piece of evidence that proves Aaron Hernandez murdered Odin Lloyd ... and the proof tastes like cotton candy.

As Aaron stood shackled in a Massachusetts courtroom moments ago, prosecutors spelled out their case against the former New England Patriots player.

During the hearing, prosecutors say they can prove Hernandez stopped at a gas station hours before the murder and purchased gas, cigarettes and BLUE COTTON CANDY FLAVORED BUBBLICIOUS BUBBLE GUM.

After Odin was murdered, investigators say they found a shell casing in his rental car that matched the caliber of the bullet used to kill the 27-year-old ... and next to the casing -- A CHEWED PIECE OF BLUE COTTON CANDY FLAVORED BUBBLICIOUS BUBBLE GUM.

Officials believe the gum places Hernandez at the scene of the crime -- and proves he killed Odin.

Hernandez has entered a not guilty plea.

So whose fan base will be the first to throw packs of Blue Cotton Candy Bubblicious at Pats players when they score touchdowns at away games?

If Hernandez likes blue cotton candy gum, maybe he wont find prison that bad. That stuff is nauseating.

I wonder how the prosecution knew he stopped for those items? Someone has to be talking.

THIS!! Great post. I have been screaming this very thing throughout this thread. Yet, NE trolls, in particular Ashtroll, continues to argue for his beloved AH. Wait for the facts, wait for the investigation, etc. Every b/s excuse because the Pat homer did not want to lose a talented player for Tammy. By Thursday of last week it was very obvious AH was a key player in this horrific crime. The fact that Pats brass sat on their azz and waited until today shows that they are nothing but a bunch of phonies. The Patriot way my a***hole.

DUDE, it's called surveillance cameras. Every single convenience store, rest stop etc. has 100 of them. Not to mention, they could retrieve receipts etc. with ease either from the car, his credit card company or from the store itself. Everything you do every single day can be tracked...everything.

Yep. His boys are singing. That is usually the only way cops can make a case like this. They either catch a break or they have a rat. In this case the break was that AH is a dvmb fvck and his friends are rats.

I suppose, but to get to that particular level of detail of that absolute terrible terrible bubble gum would still seem pretty nuts absent someone talking.

ATTLEBORO – Aaron Hernandez was arrested Wednesday morning and changed with murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old who was killed a few nights after upsetting the football player at a nightclub.

Hernandez, 23, is also facing five weapons charges. His request for bail was denied.

Hernandez was picked up at his North Attleborough home and led away in handcuffs eight days after Lloyd's body was found in an industrial park less than a mile away. The Patriots released him about two hours later. He signed a five-year, $40 million contract extension with the team last summer.

Hernandez stood next to his lawyers, Michael Fee and Jamie Sultan, dressed in a white t-shirt and red shorts, emotionless as Bill McCauley outlined the prosecutions version of events leading to Lloyd's death at the Attleboro District Court.

Members of Lloyd's family sat in the courtroom, hugging one another, as McCauley said he had evidence that, at the very least, would show that Hernandez orchestrated the murder. Halfway through, two members of the family had to leave the room as they became overwhelmed with emotion.

McCauley explained that Hernandez first met Lloyd when he began dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancé. The two went to Rumor, a Boston nightclub, on June 14, where Lloyd apparently upset Hernandez by talking to the wrong people.

Two nights later, Hernandez summoned two of his friends from Connecticut via a series of text messages, which told them to hurry up. After their arrival, a surveillance camera, 14 of which were in Hernandez's home, showed the football player holding a .45 caliber pistol, the weapon that is believed to have killed Lloyd.

Hernandez is then alleged to have told someone inside the home that he couldn't trust anyone anymore and the three men left in a rented silver Nissan Altima.

The three men then picked up Lloyd at his home around 2:30 a.m. and drove him back to Attleboro. The discussion in the car worried Lloyd and he texted his sister to make sure she saw who picked him up.

"Did you see who I am with?" Lloyd asked at 3:07 a.m.

"Who?" Lloyd's sister asked 12 minutes later.

"NFL," Lloyd said at 3:19, four minutes later adding, "Just so you know."

As Lloyd sent his final text, the car pulled down a gravel road and traveled behind an industrial building, out of view of cameras. McCauley said it was there where five shots were fired into Lloyd's body. He was hit twice, once in the arm, before two fatal shots were fired into his chest.

Prosecutors did not say who shot Lloyd. The other two men were not identified.

Minutes later, the Altima emerged from the industrial lot and traveled back to Hernandez's home.

McCauley said Hernandez's security footage shows him back at his home, holding a .45 caliber pistol, after the death. Shortly after, the cameras were shut off.

especially since it is irrelevant if he pulled the trigger or not. One of three will roll for a lesser plea. It seemed like they can easily prove the group of them did the murder because of the timeline and video footage.

This is a black eye the Patriots, Bellicheck & Kraft will not get over anytime soon.

Although I have no doubt that the NFL & sports media outlets will still find a way to paint the Pats in a positive light.

Does your defense of Hernandez ever stop? His friends are "rats" for telling police what happened? It looks like Hernandez pulled the trigger and killed Lloyd in cold blood, they're doing the right thing

    Exactly.

Please keep in mind, the victim was executed. In addition, he was released ONLY after being arrested when it was obvious to anyone with an ounce of sense, AH played a major role in this horrific crime.

Finally, why was this ganagbanging thug in the NFL to begin with? And only Kraft and Belicheat are to blame. It's not like NE did not know about his background? Also, did the criminal culture up in NE contribute to AH's actions? Once again, we need a complete investigation not only of the crime but that rogue criminal enterprise up in Mass, aka, the Patriot Way.
