Those on the stand are used to back the allegations, not just those involved.

Fun to watch you run back and forth trying to convince all that you know the states case, theories etc.

    Carry on.
The Pats wouldn't be included unless anyone in the organization was involved, which some around here speculate.

You claimed someone from the Pats would be called to the witness stand, there's no one in that affadavit including the Pats organization

Are you expecting Brady to be called as a surprise witness?

Between players, ex players over his years in NE, staff etc there's well over 100 people that were in contact with AH.

You keep bringing up Brady. Enough, go back to your room and sleep it off.

The prosecution has built a very extensive case. There are 104 pages for you to look at if you want to. There is no mention of a Patriot player involved. The State has no reason to bring a Patriot player to the stand based on that affadavit.

Most importantly, the prosecution does not need a member of the Patriots organization to take the stand in order to put Hernandez away. There's a preponderance of state evidence that can be argued on its own merit that will win this case.

You are dreaming of Brady or Belichick on the stand admitting they "saw" Hernandez getting into a sketchy car some random night or hearing him tell a teammate about some gang meetup, for all the world to see in court. Get over it. The state owns this case and doesn't need the Patriots.

Notice the other pillows, they are "NFL" pillows, basically "Goodell" pillows. They come in a package with any Pats bedspread.

Fool? That's a little harsh ASG0531 considering I have actually been pretty civil on a personal level and in fact I have gone out of my way at least once to compliment you on your loyalty and stick-to-it-iveness.

Maybe this spills over into Patriots officials or team mates testifying and maybe it does not but you are kidding yourself if you do not think this trial will be anything other than the biggest thing to hit cable news since Jodi Arias and George Zimmerman. I am sorry but that is a steaming sh1t sandwich which Pats fans are going to have to take a juicy bite out of day and night for months on end. Coming soon to a theater near you.

Belichick and Kraft testifying would just be icing on the cake or in your case gravy on the sandwich

This is a one dimensional world view. Maybe the Hernandez defense teams will call those people to the stand. And if called to the stand those f^ckers will answer every question that is put to them to the best of their ability and knowledge and without the usual evasions and outright lies that they are typically allowed to get away with.

P.S. Don't get WCO all riled up ASG0531. He has a mean left hook if you ever push him to the point where he puts down his Chardonnay glass.

Do you honestly think anybody from the Pats or Florida will be ask to testify as a state's witness?

If anything the defense might try to find a friendly teammate. But even that is a stretch.

This is real life, not TV.

That's the only chance. Again, a 104-page affidavit from the prosecution that is very detailed from the State, and not once is a Pats player or executive named. The defense won't be calling any of them to the stand. They don't need to by a long shot.

I suppose you're right, the defense could subpoena Gronk to testify that he was a nice guy or Belichick to say he was a good player or something...

this is not what the defense is going to be focusing on given the evidence in this case.

This all comes back to the giddy hope of seeing Kraft, BB, or Brady behind bars. Most of these arguments in this thread are lazy and completely lack merit.

That's just silly. We want Kraft and Belichick to squirm as much as is humanly possible and for as long as it is entertaining. You can assume it will remain entertaining around these parts for a long, long time. If possible we would also like their credentials to own a team or coach a team brought into question but even if that happy day does not arrive there is no room in this story for the Pats to distance themselves from the event as if it had somehow magically happened to some other franchise.

Patriots nation is in this for the long haul and the taint is attached to them.

Nah, don't pretend, you wish they didn't ever exist and make your life miserable for the last 10 years.

If you are you saying that I wished that the Patriots had never cheated and not won all of those tainted Lombardi trophies over the last ten years I would have to agree with you there.

Bonafide level-playing-field type competition without cheating is a good thing and we welcome it

Honorable opponents who play the game the right way and who prevail under those conditions are to be respected and admired. The fans of such a team are justified to be proud of their team's achievements. I look forward to the day when the AFC east can once again have such a team after such a long drought.
