No, not at all. I found it puzzling why Florio incorporated it into the AH story but, it is what it is...at least as PFT is concerned.

Below is the link to the story:

P.S. I don't do things the "Patriot Way" by destroying or tampering with evidence/facts.

No surprise. Afterall, the frauds up in NE did fail again this past post-season. Funny how that works when illegally video taping the opponent is no longer available to the Pats.

My fellow Jet fans, this is just affirmation of what we all continue to say. Once Tammy is gone, you will see the NE trolls gone too. I can assure you had those cheats, aka., "the Patriot Way," won the Superbowl (their first untainted) this past February, DeanPatsFan and the other annoying trolls would be here to shove it in our faces. It won't be long before they are back in hibernation like they were for the first 40+ years of the franchise.

So what's the Jets excuse for the past half of a century?

Everyone knows the Jets are not good, but the Patriots were supposed to be the team to beat last year, until they failed in the post season...... again.

But hey, the Patriots did win those SB's like 10 years ago, that has to count for something to you guys. Problem is, everyone else has forgot about them like 5 or 6 years ago.

Besides there really isnt anything penal in suspending him right now because he isnt being paid right now and there isnt any team activities going on right now.
Simply not true. The commissioner has the authority to fine or suspend a player for off the field conduct which is "detrimental to the integrity of, or public confidence in, the game of professional football".

Regardless of whether he is being paid right now, the integrity of football is at issue when a high profile player is part of a murder investigation and one of the main things that is widely known is that he destroyed evidence. An employer is certainly permitted to ask their employee to answer questions and if they refuse, as is their right, the employer also has the right to $hit can the guy, or at least in this case, suspend him.

Illustrating that you are as dumb as many of the other Pat trolls, half a century is 50 years. Jets won a legit SB in 1969.

But please keep coming back. We need to be reminded of "the Patriot Way" and those 3 tainted Superbowls. Not to mention that classy circus in NE. LMAO.

Given the bizarre nature of this investigation that has yet to result in an official arrest or charge, I think it's understandable that the NFL and the Patriots are standing on their tiptoes waiting for actual concrete information. The hammer will be dropped soon. The fact that it hasn't yet isn't an indictment on the NFL, despite what all of the NFL conspiracy theorists in here want to claim.

    seriously, ASG

the police are trying to build a case so they can put Murderer81 away for 25 years to life where he belongs.

Only secondarily are they concerned with TEAM OF MURDERERS, CHEATERS AND CROOKS.

Or perhaps the investigation is widening as to the exact extent and nature of the cover up.

Was Hernandez advised to destroy evidence by someone else and if so by which Patriots official? Did anyone from the organization actively assist in the efforts to obstruct the course of an active murder investigation? This could get even better.

Patriots black ops.... the light of day... oil and water.

You are delusional at best. "Bizarre nature?" Please tell us what is so bizarre about the on-going AH investigation with the exception that it tears apart the myth of "the Patriot Way" and "classy" organization up in NE? The police continue to do their due dilgence. Not good for AH, and the NE Pats.

Meanwhile, the investigation by the police has nothing to do with Goodell. As Sonny and other have said, he can act today. He has shown in the past to act swiftly with other organizations with much less legal consequences than a murder.

    Get a grip.

I agree ... nothing I wrote says otherwise. I'm simply calling out those who are up in arms over the fact that Hernandez hasn't been cut yet and think there are conspiracies going on to protect the Patriots' and NFL "brand."

The NFL is still a playah's league. The League kicked the crap out of the Union with the rookie salary cap and the devaluing of veterans that reduced risk has created.

If the league decides Hernadez is guilty how does that taint a potential jury pool? The league can impact the justice system by prematurely jumping to conclusions. The league also has won the big battle against the players, they don't need to pile on.

The integrity of the game isn't impacted by a player who is being investigated. The integrity of the game is impacted if a player is convicted and still playing. That's not going to happen.

Let's suppose Hernadez isn't arrested at all which is very possible. Why should the Pats or the league get to walk away from their contractual responsibility based on rumor?
