Not getting the hate. This show has always been about character development, mainly the continuing devolution of Don Draper.

While I agree this season wasn't as good as last year, I thought last season was superior to all the season's before it. And I suspect since it is the second to last season, this was basically the set up to a very explosive 1969.

I'm just annoyed we will likely miss the Jets winning the Super Bowl....

I don't understand. This is 2013. When you recommend watching a show, isn't it understood that you start with Season 1, Episode 1?

Oh, not true in the least; the writers continually use his back story to crush all "happy" out of Don's "advancements" in material benefits.

Sorry if that's a vague sentence.

His pitch to Hershey was rather unexpected. "I was an orphan raised by who-ahs. A Hershey bar made me feel like a normal kid."

    "Errr...."

I am laughing at how absurd that is. The little dude, as he was leaving, was morally stunned and really pissed he even heard that.

I don't mean the raised by who-ahs past, I mean the switched identities with a dead soldier part.

    Yea, you didn't understand.

My friends love it right now as they're catching up on netflix. However, I myself am embarrassed about how its going recently. It's still must-see TV for me on a weekly basis, but moreso living on its past.

I still have hopes for the final season. I already outlined my reasons for initially loving the show. Hopefully they go back to some of that.

Roger has really taken a back seat. He was another fun character to watch in accordance with Don or the random whoahs, rather than his own issues with his daughter and mother.

Campbell as well...as much as I appreciate Trudy being on screen, Campbell's entire character profile sucks when its not related to the company.

I'm also glad Megan will hopefully be out of the picture now due to them being 'bicoastal'.

I don't know why you would be 'embarrassed' by a tv show made by other people.

I just rewatched the Hershey scene. Brilliant stuff.

    Can't wait for next season.

    Your Nana would be proud.

    Reservedly so, yet unabashedly interested.
