    Clowney joins the Montreal Alouettes

You guys were right about Clowney. He is a beast. Now playing for the class of the CFL. http://thejetsblog.com/nyjets/clowne...fl/#more-73433

For anyone experiencing football withdrawal symptoms, the Canadian Football League kicks off their season this week.
Of particular interest is ex-Jet David Clowney’s to revive his professional career with the Montreal Alouettes. Clowney hasn’t played in the NFL since 2010, but did catch four passes in preseason with the Bills last year. He suffered a scare in his first preseason game with the Alouettes when he injured his neck and was immobilized on the field, but it was diagnosed as a stinger and he should be healthy for the upcoming season.

You think Jadaveon is going to the CFL? No the star receiver the Jets foolishly let go is going to rewrite the record books in Montreal. Brett Ratliff(our front office's next regrettable loss) should be in his car driving up there at this very moment...or maybe taking a bus if he can't afford a car.

    He should do well.

Most of the CFL season takes place in the summer.

Loved the Alouttes when I was young. Summer football, espn didn't have as many shows featuring loud sports know-it-alls... soooo, I watched Vince Feragamo and Billy White shoe Johnson, pile up the yards.
Clowney will be awesome in the CFL. He just needs someone who can out throw the coverage and let him run it down.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmp!!!!!!!

See how playing with Sanchez ruined him!!! Why if he had a real QB instead of buttfumble he would be on his way to the HOF by now!!!

Drew Wiley is a backup QB up here as well.
Ricky Ray is still one of the top QB's in the league.
    Thaddeus Coleman is up here.
    Marcus Henry is up here.
    Larry Taylor is up here.

Actually i heard that alouettes owner Woodson Johnny is going to pick up Brett in his personal ford Taurus to help convince Brett to make the move

My favorite CFL team is the Rough Riders. It use to be the Rough Riders, but they folded and left us with only one team named the Rough Riders. It was a sad day for everyone involved.

One team was Rough Riders and the other was Roughriders.

Now it is Roughriders and Red Blacks. (Or will be when Ottawa is back in the league next year.)

I thought they should have come back as the Ruff Rydas. You know, Canadian gangsta style.
