The end draws near for the concept of the seperated restrooms facillities.

    Unisex, here we come.

Exactly... Maybe its me, but I'm still trying to get my head around how 6 and 7 yr olds (and I suppose their parents obviously) can make the call that even though born completely physically male, that they want to live as girls. We're not talking born with both sets of organs there either.

And how the one kid can get a passport and ID stating he/she is female, when physically he/she is not. That could be an interesting debate down the road around security and identification.

Same way they are in every other aspect of life I suppose....

...i.e. they're not, until such a time as they get prosecuted fro being a "perv".

Indeed. Makes for some interesting possabillities.

Say, for example, that I don't feel like a white man at all, but I feel I was really a black woman born into a white man's body. Should I have the right to identify myself as such legally, including all the benefits and rights that status might (or might not) carry with it?

Once we start allowing people to claim statsu they do not actually posess, it leads to some very interesting things IMO.

that's interesting you brought that up. I've always felt like black man trapped inside a white guy's body, pretending to be a fat Chinese guy on the INternetz. Which bathroom would I use?

    We don't.

Nice idea though, one I would fully and strongly support.....if anyone in power actually wanted it.
