Anyone associated with the NFL has us ranked as one of the worst 5 teams in the league. Get a clue.

You can now go and openly root for your Pats, Joe.

You can even put your adored mancrush, Timmy, on.your avatar.

[QUOTE=Batmans A Scientist;4917516]Talent, no... Considering Holmes probably won't even be healthy to start the season, yes.

Honestly, i think top 5 worse is a little low, but i would certainly say the Jets are a bottom 10 team currently.

Dont you think there is any room for improvement Joe?

If the defense can improve a bit, that should keep the Jets in at least 7-8 games like last season.

I think our Offense will be putrid. Is there room for hope? Absolutely, but when it comes to skill players, I dont see much addition other than the 2 RB's that were added in FA, and as for the QB position, its the most important position on the field. and the Jets have a player in decline for the past 2 years, and a rookie with question marks.

The Pats also have former Titan Lavelle Hawkins. I bet he starts or at worst is #3 (barring further additions)

That hot mess makes me feel pretty good about the Titans receiving corps...

    WR
    Nate Washington
    Kendall Wright
    Kenny Britt
Justin Hunter (2013 2nd round pick)
    Damian Williams
    Kevin Walter
    Marc Mariani

    TE
    Delanie Walker
    Craig Stevens
    Taylor Thompson
Britt was a beast when healthy

Really? Who associated with the NFL? Anyone as in all? Sure, love to see that list of NFL rocket scientists.

No one worth a damn, anywhere has us winning only 3.

Only SOJFs like you who think they're being realistic.

I am not including the TEs. But if I did, even a broken Gronk is much better than anything we have had in a long time.

If Holmes healthy he is the best WR on either team. Big if. But 1-5 I think the Pats are deeper and more consistent. If you factor in the QB's effect then the Pats gain an even bigger edge.

You know, real stuff. Oh wait, you haven't gotten much either way but that lead you to believe that it's not going well and he will miss at least 4 weeks. Gotcha
This seems like a bit of an overreaction to my post that stated I wouldn't be surprised if he missed a few games yet that I hadn't really heard anything either way. But yes, I would consider a grade 4 lisfranic foot injury, which is the worst kind, major for wide receiver. Wouldn't you?

NE's every day of the week. Their guys actually catch the ball. That's even without Gronk and Hernandez. Our WR corp is terrible. Holmes has never lived up to the size of the contract he got. Hill, for all the talent he has, cannot catch the ball. He has a high bust factor and it bears watching.

Kerley is great. He's the one guy that this offense can count on.

Gates/Obamanu??? WTF are they? They wouldn't even make most teams rosters.

Winslow is a short term, put out a fire, fix that won't be on this team after this season. He's also as fragile as china.

    Cumberland is OK at best.

Reading this board you'd think there were only 2 teams in the AFC east.

They have more question marks but even if they get gronk for only 4 games this season that alone gives them the advantage. but going into week one unless Hill learns how to catch the ball I would say its a wash
Jenkins will likely not make the team. Dobson will be the #1 in NE.
    Hill > Dobson
    Kerley> Amandola
    A healthy Holmes > Jones
    Gates = Edleman
Obomanu, White, Rodger => Hawkins, Boyce, Jenkins
Winslow, Cumby and Smith <= ??????
