    This f*ing weather...

makes me wonder how the hell people live in the south. I'll take the damn snow over this sweltering humidity.

I'm in Littleton NH today and the weather hot but I'd rather live in NC than The metro area.

Have you gone to the store with the world's largest candy counter in Littleton?

Not really a counter in my opinion.

Is why I like living next to a giant lake. Sure, it's a snow making bastid in the winter...but it doubles as an A/C during the summer...

110 in the desert is better than 90 on the eastern seaboard with that humidity IMO. It's still hot as balls out here but you don't really sweat because it's so dry. Having worked in NYC and Washington, DC during the summer wearing a suit I can honestly say I prefer it in the southwest. The caveat is we have 110+ for 3 straight months, you guys just seem to get 15-20 days where there's a brutal combo of heat and humidity.

No - I happen to like the summer; in fact I enjoy the seasons. Each has good points as well as bad, but would not want to live anywhere else!

I had a corned beef hash omelette there yesterday.

I have family up here. My kids basically came up here every summer when I lived in NY.

Now I only get here on occasion. had biz in Boston, took a few days and came up.

I am driving back to Charlotte tomorrow....
