As expected, members of "Chowd gerbil exchange club" started their usual line of defense "everybody does it". No wonder AH is now their hero and those slimesucks are snapping his jersey for double the price.
    Anyone surprised?

Chowds, who called big stocky men they are living with as "wives" probably will not understand your logic.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think this is what will happen. AH will be cast as the ruthless villian (which of course is true) that deceived the team that took a chance on him when no one else wanted would.

The Pats are going to manufacture the sympathy vote. And it's probably going to work. I can hear Jim Nantz now: "look at all the Patriots have had to overcome this year, between the loss of Wes Welker to FA, Gronkowski to surgery, and the Hernandez tragedy...you have to feel for what this team has been through this offseason."

Then they'll put Tebow in for a one-yard TD in some meaningless game, and ESPN will resume its ball-washing.

hundreds and hundreds of frontrunner chowds who loved their serial murderer SO much as to buy his replica jersey lined up in the 90+degree heat today to exchange their hero for another cheap silkscreened replica. The most popular choices were a serial obesity case (Wilfork) a serial PED abuser (Gronk) and a serial cheater (Tammy)

    Sg3,

You beat me to it. Just posted about this in the serial murderer (AH) thread.

But, just in case anyone misses it over there, please find it below here:

Fans line up to trade in Hernandez jerseys

Posted by Mike Florio on July 6, 2013, 11:49 AM EDT

It’ roughly two hours in to the two-day Hernandez jersey exchange, and plenty of fans have shown up at Gillette Stadium to swap out the accused killer’s uniform top for a new jersey bearing a different name and number.

The folks at NESN.com have compiled various tweets illustrating the length of the lines at the Patriots ProShop. Austin Tedesco, an intern at Boston.com and the sports editor at the Boston College newspaper, has posted photos and a Vine video on Twitter.

Per Tedesco, the most popular jersey that fans are getting in return for their Hernandez gear is Vince Wilfork. And Tedesco says he overheard this gem from one of the customers: ”If Wilfork gets arrested for murder now I’m going to kill that MFer.”

The selection is fairly limited; for the high-end “authentic” jerseys, the options are only Wilfork, Tom Brady, and Rob Gronkowski.

Tim Tebow isn’t among the various options for the four types of jerseys: replica, authentic, replica women’s, and youth.

The exchange continues until 9:00 p.m. tonight, and from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Before you give the Pats credit, I was listening to one of the Boston sports radio stations this morning, IIRC 98.5, via the Tune-in app. At first glance, the Pats were getting credit by the media. Only after the disappointment by fans because of the rules the Pats put in place for the exchange -- can only be done at the Pro Shop at Gillette; all customers need a receipt (good luck with that) showing the jersey was purchased at Gillette; and the exchange is only good for today and tomorrow -- fans will need to stand in line during the summer heat.

Yup, classy move by that cheating scumbag Kraft. He has plenty of money that he can certainly absorb the financial hit he helped cause of the fans by agreeing to draft the alleged serial killer.

Will this help them score points or win games?

I don't think the Pats are taking Welker jerseys.

Falcons fans sure would have liked this offer for their Vick jerseys, though. Probably 10 times the number of them sold to the fanbase.

There ya go again...as a former POTUS once said during a debate in 1980 with another of your PATented and PAThetic chowd troll deflections

Mike Vick was a person who abused, maimed and killed multiple dogs and spent two years in prison for it...bad

Your beloved symbol of The Patriot Way, Murderer81 is a filthy subhuman dog who abused, maimed and apparently killed multiple people and will hopefully spen the rest of his life in prison. ..MUCH MUCH worse

To even try to compare the two is just another example of typical despicable chowd fan arrogance

The comparison is between two franchises trying to distance themselves from a marquee player because of legal problems. The Falcons wanted nothing more to do with Vick than the Pats did with Hernandez. It has nothing to do with comparing the severity of their crimes. But keep projecting.

Sure was scummy of them to allow free jersey exchanges for the fans today, huh? Woody would have slashed 5 bucks off the retail price and sent a mass email to his STHers announcing a new "summer sale." Maybe another 10% discount with a contribution to Jeb's campaign.

    you're right

Mr Johnson is a decent, law abiding person known for his generous efforts for Lupus and a whole bunch of other legitimate charitable organizations

Kfart is a slimy, sleazy cardboard box salesman cheating crook known for spygate, harboring and rewarding murderers, carousing with bimbos and extorting kickbacks from his players for the purpose of enriching the Kfart Crime Family syndicate

    definitely NO comparison
