    Police shoot and kill Dog.

I wanted to post the video, but something is up my account. Thanks in advance to whoever posts it.

Anyway, some cops out in CA shoot and kill this dude's dog who was about to attack them. The bystanders are outraged, but there was no other option, IMO. I love animals just as much as anyone, but this one is totally on the owner. He puts his dog in a bad spot by ignoring police orders, and not securing his dog properly before his arrest. The video is tough to watch, so beware animal lovers. A search of " police shoot dog " will pull it up

Why did they arrest the guy? What did he do?

The dog...sad and unfortunate but not sure they had many options.

I can't blame the cop for reacting to a potentially dangerous rottweiller, but shouldn't he have reached for the taser first?

That's why it would be great if someone can post the long version. He pulls up, gets out of his car with music blasting and starts to film. Cops ask him several times to turn it down, he completely shuns them

    Another "liberal media" edit job.

The video posted here makes it look like the guy did almost nothing.

Basically...he interfered with the police via loud music etc.

How would you feel if you had to cram your first seven years into one?

    Dogs are people too.

He should have shot him in the paw.

You can't just shoot the gun out of his hand/paw - that's just in the movies.

I bet after they do an investigation, they're going to find out that this dog wasn't armed.

Dogs shouldn't wear hoodies. It's not natural.

He absolutely did; He was well aware of the spectators filming him as he put on his little show and was emboldened by their reaction to his juvenile shenanigans.

This guy is "bring amblance" x 10 and got his dog killed.

It's police-state stuff like this that's ruining this country.
