Yeah, and that Wayne Chrebet sure was a gangbanging thug just like Hernandez.

There's no comparison between a serial killer and a guy who gets in a fight in a bar.

I'm sure PATS* fans will disagree.

So basically you're saying the Jets were a circus because ESPN and NFL network stumbled over each other covering the non story of Tebow "competing" for the QB job. Or a media created story all because Tebow is a man of God. Nothing about that story had a thing to do with the Jets.

Every day, ESPN called out to Sal P, so how is the QB circus today. Sal P kept answering, there is no circus, everyone here knows Mark is the QB. ESPN panel, chuckles, we'll check back with Sal and the circus at Jet camp later.

It doesn't matter whether or not there was actual competition between Tebow and Sanchez for the starting job. The media and general public believed it, and the prospect of getting to see more "Tebow Time" was strong enough in the media's eyes to garner significant coverage.

I said that the circus was BS, made up by the media. Repeating it and saying the public believed it is goofy and accomplishes nothing to help your cause.

Just remember this when you keep saying that Bill will say nothing and the Tebow and Murderer stories will just magically go away.

BB can skip on to another question, maybe, but it wont go away. And the public will believe what they want to believe.

Lets see the Patriot spin on this.

You're right, the circus was BS made up by the media. But the public ate it with a big spoon. Perception is reality in sports, and the Jets perception was that of a circus.

You can kick and scream all you want about none of it was really true, but the media still printed the stories and broadcasted live from Cortland and Florham Park.

It remains to be seen what happens in Foxboro. We're still a couple of weeks away from training camp. If ESPN sets up camp in Foxboro and Belichick gets skewered daily over the next month then you'll have your point.

Geez, you're really posting this? Same old Jets fan? Because if you aren't you may have taken the time to note the Jets are at the bottom in team arrests since 2000, 29th out of 32 teams in the NFL and only two arrests from having the least amount of arrests. The Pats and the Giants are ahead of the Jets.
