    Us older Tri State fans remember The Good Rats back in the day.

    I first saw The Good Rats when I was 13 the played at Montclair State College, they became part of my arsenal of bands at the time. The Clash, Joe Jackson, Pistols, Ramones, Blondie, Tom Robinson Band, Squeeze, Cheap Trick, New York Dolls etc.

    "Get Back To My Music" was on a Warners compilation album I got at JJ Newberry in the cut out bin.

    "If it makes you happy" remember that tune? ..... Saw them MANY times. In fact, for the Permanent waves tour, they opened up for RUSH at the nassau Coliseum.

    I don't know if we're in the same age bracket, but you sure did bring back some memories with the Mad Hatter reference. Back in the late '70s, it was Twisted Sister that my friends and I went to see there.
