Worth a look, can't hurt to compete in camp for a roster spot.

Had a great season in Dallas a few years back. Not a bad option if Holmes isnt a go for the start of the regular season.

Just read he suffered 4 concussions last year. I hope, for his sake, he can stay healthy.

Multiple concussions. Fine if they bring him in, but this is a guy I would personally pass on. Only had one good year when healthy.

Yikes. 4 in 1 year is scary.

I'm encouraged by the stories of WR's coming in. Realistically the team at this moment is essentially complete save for a missing starter at WR. That is the one unit that gets an incomplete right now. I could see a blocking TE as a possibility as well but the glaring hole is at WR. I still prefer the beard but I hope they give Brandon Lloyd a look as well.

They are also bringing in Austin Collie:

Jets are working out former Colts WR Austin Collie today, per team source. Collie also has worked out for Pats and Niners.

    Yet another concussion-prone player...

I remember a lot of us wanted to sign him two years ago.

Very true, just last year actually. He got crazy money from Jax as a FA (5 years 35 million 14 guaranteed) now he is on the street looking for work.

So between him and Collie, they've only had 10 concussions over the last couple seasons...

Yes, this clearly a better signing than Braylon.

He and Austin Collie both need to retire before they endanger their future health by continuing to try and play football.

Yep, he was an up and comer, much like Miles Austin. Cowboys didn't want to commit to both players and then Dez Bryant. Going to the Jags with their QB situation along with the concussions didn't help, but this is a talented player if he can over come the injuries. I've read that the team rushed him back, it is possible that with a full year off, that the team is bringing him in now because he has been cleared.

You don't know his history and your post shows it. His health issues date back to ATL. That was before he played for STL where it was more of the same. In fact, he's only ever had the 1 dominant year.
