    Welcomed Change

As camp starts up on Friday its such a breathe of fresh air not to be
reading the same tired stories from the media:

    - Revis contract / holdout situation
    - Tebow-palooza
    - Creating a stir based on some Rex comment

For once the media is going to have to work and report on actual
on the field football matters. Its going to be interesting to see which
reporters have the ability to evaluate players and real football issues
and bring it to the fans

I think the qb competition will keep them occupied.

The rb situation will be interesting too.

just getting rid of that awful piece of garbage, Teblow adds a huge breath of fresh air to the 2013 training camp

You're giving them far too much credit. There are going to be mountains made of mole hills in no time, and attempts at being funny such as ...

"Geno did throw an interception in live 11-on-11 drills, but hey, at least he wasn't sending any text messages between reps."

On the other hand the live twitter "reports" and practice stats without context can be disconcerting.

Case in point down in Dallas:

Tony Romo was supposed to report to camp at 235 lbs and reported to camp at 236 lbs ... one pound over his prescribed playing weight. Headlines in Dallas read, "Tony Romo Reports to Camp Out of Shape."

The dude just had surgery to have a cyst removed from his back and could lose that one pound taking a dump. But a headline that reads, "Nothing Controversial To Report Here on Day One in Dallas" doesn't sell as good as a headline about an out of shape starting QB ...

I'm glad people around the country are now starting to pick up on some of the stuff us Jets fans have been victims of over the past couple of years.

I've been on the media BS campaign since they started making fun of the Jets after the Miami game in 09. Coming off back to back AFC title games, and being 8-5 to start the season...but because of an (albeit, terrible) 3 game losing streak, we were made out to be the laughing stock of the league...even though we didn't finish with a losing record. Pathetic media.

I love them. Taken as a whole you do start to build a pretty solid picture of what's happening in training camp.

the main reason they will actually have to work is to keep up with reports of what actually is going on, not some made up bs.
of course the actual reports will be coming from you like they do every year. can't wait

Is that when the Teblow-Palooza act comes on in the Foxboro Circus?

    Any recent fatalities to report?

This is shockingly close to something that Semen-I or Manpoop Mehta would actually write. If I saw this in a column next week I wouldn't think twice. That's how bad the Jets' media is.

Totally had Dick Semini in mind while writing it.
