Tanny gave paydays to two questionable players Cro and Holmes. The Cro contract looks like genius and the Holmes contract is a disaster in hindsight.

A season and a half to a foot injury? Is there any precedent?

Can you imagine the fallout now had Tanny signed Aso!
Holy crap, we would have lost Cro & Revis.
That was a perfect example of the saying, "not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke of luck"

I remember all the Pats fans on ESPN (Cryptkeeper) taunting the Jets in 2010 about Aso picking the Eagles over the Jets. "Nnamdi wants to go where he thinks he can win" what a lame insult.

Eagles ended up with a $60 million Eric Smith. Congrats.

Exactly, Tanny was saved from himself on Aso. He was so lucky Philly offered all that money to Aso, too bad Tanny didnt let the Redskins win the bidding war on Holmes.

Maybe it's the spirit of the cadaver MRI that's telling the foot what to tell Holmes?

If he 'misses' the season, I won't 'miss' him.

I've been thinking for a while that Holmes has already played his last game as a Jet.

    Hes just awful.
Personally, i can not stand him. His attitude is piss poor, and while others certainly have the right to disagree, i just dont think he is a good football player. At all.

If he can't come back due to injury, does anyone know what the cap ramifications are? Do we get any relief this year or next?

Signing Bray saves #6's job no matter what happens to Holmes.
    Course you know your quaterbacks.

wait so he is asked when he will play, he says i have to do what the foot says and the conclusion is...he may miss the season

Are we sure he isn't faking the injury?

Holmes will never be the GOAT but he's also not a JAG.

    He fell somewhere in between.

    Robert,
Of course stats dont tell the whole story, but Santoni-HO is being paid to be our # 1 WR. Our true aerial threat.

What season has he had as a Jet that warrants his paycheck? Not to mention he has a bad attitude. It matters, just look at Bray Bray.
