We might have a better "Braylon" though since both players are pretty similar.

I wonder if Hill knows how to dougie?
Bray is far more physical and intimidating than Hill.

I'm not sayin he's either, but Hill is more Randy than he is Bray/Tarrell.

Its too early to say who the QB will be. But based on what I've seen so far
the thought / perception that Smith couldn't start week 1 is false. If he
keeps progressing this is a "legitimate" QB competition

Yes finally quality Offensive vs. Defensive practices, this is why I felt the Jets had poor offensive coaching before. I always felt Rex was holding back trying not to "embarass" the offense. IMO it is also why Sanchez sucked in games, you play the way you practice, very few players are Allen Iverson. You need quality practice reps to perform in high pressure game situations. MM is saying forget the take it easy on the offense route, bring it on!!! I for one am loving it.

Also good news about Smith; KRL is not some silly Smith booster but someone I have trusted to give fair and honest assessments on all the players. He takes what he does seriously.

If KRL says that Smith looked excellent and outplayed a Sanchez who looked good all I can say is this bodes well for NYJ football.....

    Just fantastic reporting!!!

Maybe not Megatron freaky, but pretty freaky. 6-4 215 with 4.28 speed and a 40 inch vert, really no other players with those measurables .

I'm happy so far with every part of the top of the Jets. Idzik, Rex and Marty plus the coaches seem to be really getting results so far. The camp reports are much better this year and we can see growth from our young players, which is a sign of their hard work and the great coaching we're getting this year. I'm very happy about all of this.

The QB battle has been very good too. Love the fact that both QB's are performing at a high level. This is only good news for this team going forward. I want EVERY player on this team to perform at their best. I said it before camp that I think this team is gonna surprise the Media naysayers who think we have no talent on this team.

Doesn't look like the "keep KRL in Cortland" campaign is gaining any steam, but mark me down as another willing donor . . .

    Like I said : A Better "Braylon".

(although Braylon is also 215 and only an inch shorter than Hill)

Love Hills potential, I just hope he loosens up a bit on the field, he just looks rigid and awkward sometimes...

While i am posting, wanted to add onto everyone praising these krl reports - stuff is brilliant.

Did me and KRL watch different practices today? Hill looked awful.

Not just KRL, but every other beat writer out there said he looked great as well.

you seem to be the only one who thinks that because he is being heavily praised by literally everybody else

agree, he has the same lanky awkwardness that Keyshawn had. Even with all his speed and explosiveness, it just doesn't look smooth/natural.

    I don't get the comparison.

Keyshawn wasn't 'speedy' but he was a very solid blocker for a WR. Two very different guys.

If only we had an In-his-prime Keyshawn along with having Braylon. That would be a punishing WR-tandem as far as run-blocking goes.

Not just you, but a lot of others, Hill has been getting good reports. Not sure what you were watching.

    I so excite!

I need to change my undies now.

Gonna be VERY excite if Geno is as good as he appears to me! So far it definitely sounds like it!

KRL, you are the muthafvckin MAN!

Pretty much every report I've seen has said Hill was great today. You're definitely in the minority on this one.
