Wild, my mother had a 62' Impala SS, vert, same color combo as that one wish I had it today.
Gotta watch this video. Apparently the guy who owned this dealership didn't believe in getting rid of last year's inventory. He just stored it.

Rear engine Corvair.
My parents had matching ones, until my sister and me came along, think they are still pissed about giving those up for the Chevy Chevelle station wagon!.
Thats friggin awesome.I love those oldies but never had the mechanical know-how to actually maintain one if I bought one as a toy.
Was driving through Island Park on a weekly basis last year right before the storm and there was a '63 Mercedes in mint condition on the street every day...5 g's they wanted for it. Actually stopped twice to look it over...mentioned it to the wife (to gauge the level of wtf'ness)....then the storm came soon after...and that whole neighborhood got slammed under several feet of water and sand..I'm sure
the thing was trashed and is in some landfill in Pennsylvania by now.
I check out some of the informal car shows on Sunrise Hwy and it really does make you feel like an 8 year old kid longing for a matchbox car again.

I wish she would have given us a closeup of one of those window stickers. Would love to have seen the original asking price for, say, the '78 Camaro.
Saw that on another site a few weeks ago. That Vette is gonna go for BIG money.![]()
They are easier than today's cars. Much easier. Ask any mechanic.
Personally I liked the pickup.
