Happily, my own access to them is strictly limited by the Wife to my prepared workday lunches. Otherwise, surely, an entire bag (or six) may already have found it's way down my substantial gullet.

I should probably mention that famous Southern Fried Chicken joint Popeyes has also hopped aboud this flavortrain:

Chicken, dipped in Waffle Batter, served with some sort of Syrup dipping sauce concoction, served with Popeyes famous fries and biscuits. Almost too much goodness for one plate, if you ask me.

God, I wish I didn't like food so much....
Oh god I wish they would stop pandering to me. There are 3 popeyes in SF; I am on first-name basis with all the kitchen staff.

ummm....free biscuits being important in this economy....derp

Not sure these will be available much longer.

Lays held a contest and Chicken & Waffles lost out the Cheesy Garlic Bread.

Sriracha (you know that fake asian hot sauce stuff) came in last.

Clearly the contest results were racially motivated as the white people's flavor beat out soul food and Asian flavors.

Now I'm hiding out in the garage, just to finish the bag.

After completing my search for this elusive "white whale" of edible delight, my opinion is meh. I taste the syrup/waffle flavor but could have used a little sweetness. First world problems for sure.

hahahaha - just wait until that bag gets a little empty, and your brow gets sweaty as you wonder where the next bag will come from.

    LOL @ Churchfish

I wonder if your wife has the same name as mine, it must be some sort of 'persecuTED' thing.

No, they are just ghastly - totally underwhelmed. TO make up for it I bought some Perdue Chicken Strips, put some cheese on them at the last minute, and then shoved them in between two waffles. Drunken cookery at its best.

I can't get enough of Chick-fil-a - great chicken, but only can find one when I'm travelling.
Some people don't like the chain, but for me, great chicken >>>>> gay people.

Exactly. I eat unsalted Potato Chips when I want to be bad.
