He got manhandled in that one sack last game.

Not pathetic at all. He is using a motivation technique called projecting. He is basically telling his players you remind me of the great so and so. Motivational.

You mean the one where Sanchez had 4 seconds too throw it. Maybe watch the rest of his plays, since not everyone was perfect but he has so far been showing every tool you need too possess to be a great FB in a WCO.

Yup. It's just unfortunate that he only played that one snap.

    Oh wait, he didn't.

Seriously, people need to actually watch entire games and not just the odd play here and there.

Really think he will have a DJax type year where he has like 50-60 catches and like 1200 yards but may also have like 12-15 drops. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Sounds like Geno was going long a lot. I can take the turnovers if he is at least going for the big plays. Love to hear that just with he had connected more.
Totally agree. Team needs motor type/set the edge guys. They are the meat and potatoes.

Sanchez held the ball for an eternity. Hardly Bo's fault.

Not a good day for WRs. Obomanu and Rogers drop long passes from Sanchez.

Looks like all the Wrs are having a tough day. Might be time to send Sanjay back to the 7-11 and get another receivers coach.
    Dude....really?

From what I'm told, Baker is doing well and had a tryout with the Colts a few weeks ago and had tryouts scheduled with the Chiefs, Saints and Panthers as well.

Apparently, in addition, the Jets thought his injury was worse than it actually was.

I'd like to see T-Bo lay out Conner on ST's Oct. 27th.

And the offenses won't take advantage of his weaknesses? They'll just run to his side of the field?

He's a JAG who is good for depth and ST's. That's about it.

I know, it's was pathetic for Rex to compare him to a guy like Alstott. He will never be Alstott.

When Tex refers to him as "Alstott" when speaking about him to the media, it is a little embarrassing, especially after all the BS he has talked about players in the past like Connor, Gholston, Sanchez, etc. I heard it and cringed. The guy has done NOTHING remotely close to looking like Alstott.

Peyton Hillis is the closest thing this league has seen to Alstott in recent years... If Rex wants an Alstott type player, they should have brought in Hillis when he was available.

Youd rather Pace? Garrett has improved every year and has shown more then Sapp. If he isnt able to start part time at his age then he should make final cut.

Instead they drafted a guy they liked, is versatile, and has reminds some of the coaches of an Alstott type of player, what is the problem?
