    Per Ian Rapoport

He was a nice weapon in Cleveland so maybe they can get something out of him.

signing Massaquoi does not bode well for Braylon Edwards

=The Jets can't get Santonio Holmes back on the field, and some within the organization reportedly believe he's milking an injury. Braylon Edwards, signed for depth last month, hasn't practiced all week.

Enter some reinforcements. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that the Jets agreed to terms with Mohammed Massaquoi on Thursday.

Like any mid-August signing, we wouldn't expect Massaquoi to make much of an impact. After all, the receiver-needy Jaguars gave up on Massaquoi only months after handing him $90,000 guaranteed on a two-year contract.

Still, this signing is not good news for Edwards' status. He played with the backups during the team's last preseason game, and he hasn't been seen since. We wouldn't be surprised at all if Edwards' career ends this month.

I think it doesn't bode well for Obomanu more than Edwards.
