    taylor mayes on bubble

Is he really that bad? Remember he was supposed to be real good coming out of college. Worse than what we currently have?

If the field was 5 yards wide and you never had to turn just run forward he'd be pretty good.

He's an athlete not a football player and that has been evident for a loooong time.

    Mays does two things well:

    1. Hit hard

    2. Run fast in a straight line

He's pretty damn terrible at everything else.

I wouldn't even give Chez that muh credit. The last time he tried running in a straight line it resulted in perhaps the most bungled play in Jets history and produced his "career defining" moment.

Been watching Hard Knocks and he strikes me as someone that struggles with the mental part of the game as well. Got a nice little girlfriend though. Probably gonna ditch his ass when he gets cut.

He may never be able cover . His hips are tight i noticed that during hard knocks too. Doesn't turn well at all..

He is freakish athlete tho. If you could ever get his mental side ride he would be a hell of enforcer.

His diva attitude rubs me the wrong way too

His teammates mocking him on hardknocks is #1 very funny, #2 very telling of the player, to me, this guy isn't someone who loves and breathes football

Spot on. I think he is more of a body builder than football player.

Kid, from Hard Knocks, appears to be a complete ****head. Wouldn't want him near this team. Typical soft USC player.
