Everything is going according to plan -- Idzik

Idzik kept Rex as his HC because he knew it was the best strategy to get Clowney in next years draft. He knew Rex would make dumb decisions to flush our season down the toilet, he just didn't realize it'd be as early as the third preseason game.

Clowney, Mo, Ellis, Couples. This will be our front line which will lead our team to the Super Bowl.

    Dude.

    Can Clowney throw TD passes?

He can sack the QB on every play but if the Jets score 0 points you can't technically ever win a football game.

    Geno is our QB.

Adding Clowney to our frontline is going to put us over the top.

    This is the Giants blueprint.

Without Rex running the defense it doesn't matter who we draft, we won't be as good. Look at what he does with average players. Last night was a stupid move, but players get hurt in preseason all the time. It's football. Hopefully Sanchez is okay. I doubt it tho.

This is what clueless fans would type on the internet.

No one, on any team tanks the season in the 3rd week of preseason. Only the dumbest of dumb fans do.

As Woodson said on ESPN, if Sanchez doesn't get hurt not a single person is complaining that Sanchez played or when he played last night.

The Jets are not getting Clowney, because the Jets will not be anywhere near the worst record in the NFL in 2013.

    Sanchez or no Sanchez.

I agree its really no different then him playing the 3rd quarter last week with 2nd stringers. My bigger question is why play him at all , what was there to gain. If he needed reps play him on Thu two series with starters or better yet they could him let him start the 3rd qtr with the 1's last night.

It's too soon to start comparing Clowney to Bridgewater. A lot can happen.

The top Heisman candidates going into the 2012 college season included Matt Barkley, Monte Ball, and Marcus Lattimore.
