    Cool Hurrah for Mornhinweg!!!

Don't you get the sense that no matter who's back there, the Jets will be fun to watch on offense? What sets Marty apart from Schotty and Sparano is that he's not only content to practice passing plays, he actually goes out and calls them during gameday.

Receivers run open all over the field, despite messy OL play, the balls keeps flying, it's a fearless approach to the game... Kill me now but I'll kill you later. The NFL is all about the passing game nowadays, it is becoming increasingly difficult to win in this league with just defense and a running game, these ain't the 80's, or 90's for that matter.

We finally have an OC that's in tune with the realities of the modern NFL, the Jets were number 2 overall in passing offense this preseason, it didn't matter who was behind center, the ball was flying all over the place, it's preseason I know but at least we didn't have to hear vanilla when the Jets offense was mentioned, if this was playing it vanilla I can't wait for the regular season. E

Even if it means that together with the big plays we'll have some big turn overs as well, I can live with that knowing that we have a terrific young defense and a mad scientist as my OC, I can live with that, and it's a good start.

He's better at developing a passing game than anyone we've had since Charlie Weis. We might not have the QB to have a legitimately great offense but we will move the ball this year.

You're right. Let's go back to Sparano and/or Schotty. They were the real risk takers.

in what way? throwing the ball on every down? If anything he's one of the least conservative play callers in the game.

So passing over the run and calling patterns that help you get YAK is conservative?

    Only if Rex dies.

    And that still guarantees nothing.
