In 6 days the Jets record will be...

In less than a week we may already know how this season is going to go. Will we be thinking draft, new HC, etc after an 0 - 2 start? Will we shock the league and get off to a fast 2 - 0 start? Or, will the Jets split to start 1 - 1?

It's been a long offseason and it's hard to believe that in just 6 days the direction of this season could be significantly set.

    1-1

WIN vs TB, by 7 or less.

LOSS vs NE, by 10 or more.

Geno will throw 3-4 INT's over the next 2 games.

    I'm cautiously optimistic they'll be 1-1...

but, really, 0-2 wouldn't be surprising, and wouldn't mean much. It would not mean Rex is done and we're already looking ahead to draft. It would, in fact, be pretty much expected, and Rex's future would hinge on Geno's development and whether the team comes together and is competitive for the rest of the 14 games.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it's really playoffs or bust for Rex. I think the decision will be based on whether the team seems to be trending up during the second half of the season. So, imo, 0-2 will mean little.

2-0. Geno to Hill all day tomorrow, then Big Mo and Richardson crush TB on Thursday. We beat Mallet up too.

At least 1-1. Who knows, some wonderful Bills defender could rip Tammi's head right off his neck tomorrow and insure 2-0

In this scenario you aren't really going out on a limb unless you predict 2-0, or 0-2. I say 0-2.

Are you and SAR heading out to Gillette to root for your New England faves on Thurs?

Actually, I have met SAR in the past. My wife and I went out to his summer home in OOB. Nice man and very good family. Watched a preseason game at his house. He does have his rather outlandish views of the NYJ and I really do not share them, but I respect him. So, if you were trying to insult me by associating me with SAR? Go ahead. Have at it. I could care less.
