Not really happy with Idziks last few choices....

First off RB's Bell and Madu both looked good.

I'd say keep Rogers over Harrell...

Brady Quinn? Really? I'd rather have Jimmy Clausen

Will Campbell is a waste of a roster spot...

    Letting Lansanah go?

    Somebodys drinkin heavily...besides me. LOL!

I agree about Bell, he really impressed me this preseason. Madu, not so much. I also wanted to keep Rogers, but his drop and fumble against Philly doomed him. BQ over Harrell comes down to experience, nothing more. Idzik values his draft picks it seems so Campbell making the team is no surprise. Lansanah will be back on the PS.

There, I think I covered it all.

Have patience. If how they did things in Seattle is any indication then under Idzik we are going to be very active with the waviers. Some will be hits, some will be misses.

These are the last few roster spots and guys who won't even dress on Sunday. I would suggest not getting in a twist about any of those moves. Idzik's legacy will definitely be elsewhere, including moves not yet made.

Lansanah should be on the team not P.S.
    But I hope you're right...
Just a few questionable last minute choices...don't agree.
Obviously it'll mix up more ..just hate losing guys that really show somethin..
Did you see how Quick Madu was? I just don't get it.

    LOL.

Seriously though I don't care if he likes tinkering with the bottom of the roster. There are gems to be had, hopefully we find some.

Green fits the WCO scheme. He'll be the 3rd down RB until Goodson is ready.

Campbell could have been kept because they were concerned he wouldn't clear waivers. Remember Draft weekend it was reported a few teams were interested in Campbell & moving him to OL

Lansanah will be signed to the PS today, once he clears waivers

Quinn/Clausen? Is there really a difference

Rogers has yet to be signed anywhere (as far as I know)

People need to relax and think the moves through. They make sense.

I'm pretty surprised about Aboushi and Campbell but I can imagine some movement after Game 1 with Idzik signing veteran FAs to non-guaranteed contracts. I can't argue with Idzik's approach all off-season in taking flyers on highly talented but oft-injured players -- Ivory, Colon, Gerard, Winslow, Alex Green, Ben Ijalana. Outside of Ivory and Goodson (emphasis on RB), he's taken low risk approach with these guys by signing them to 1 year contracts for short money. If they pan out then great. If not they are holding a spot for younger guys we are trying to develop.

At this point I am concerned with ILB, OT, and S, but I think he's done a sensible job and stuck to his guns so far.

    Huh?

    ILB-Davis, Harris

    OT-Ferguson, Howard

And 1 safety spot is filled with a very capable veteran, the other is still up for grabs.

I don't understand the question marks about ILB and OT. Ferguson is one of the best LT in the game and Howard rated out as one of the best blocking RT's in the league last year and is only 26 with 1 year of starting experience under his belt. Davis is an up and coming LB and Harris is slow but is better then 1/2 the ILB in the league still. He's just making too much money for his production. That doesn't mean he's bad.

    Depth dude!!! Lol

Who is our backup swing tackle - Aboushi? Major concern here
Who is our backup ILB with Mauga on IR?
Do you feel comfortable with depth at Safety?

Injury is 100% guaranteed. People get subbed to keep guys fresh, etc....

Bell is the biggest disappointment in my opinion. Swapping for Alex Green is a calculated risk. Lets see what happens!

Bell cleared waivers, so no team thought enough of him to sign.

While I agree, I DO say that those "last roster spots" should be spent on young developmental players as depth, not no-name failed veteran depth.
