Luck and RGIII were top 10 picks. Geno was thought to be but he fell to the second round for a reason.

But I guess that's like almost 50% or something when seen through the green colored glasses that have made Sanchez look like a franchise QB for four years..
If he was starting then you would have a right to complain.

Ill take Lockers numbers from last year as an improvement at QB. Geno doesnt have a very high bar to get over.

Add Wilson so that we have Simms and Wilson backing up a rookie in Smith to start the season?

Do any of you think any more before you post?
We could ask you the same thing. He got cut from the RAIDERS, the RAIDERS. They have such a long history of positive moves. Brady Quinn is useless; he doesn't know the offense if Geno goes down so stop acting like he's a viable backup for us right now.

There you go. The Jets know Brady Quinnis not going to replace Sanchez. He's just there for backup.

Exactly. Another useless signing (Ray Ray please read above).

In Quinn, they have a player with experience, is a perfect back-up player, high character, smart, and has experience in a WCO system, and played on a team who our GM used to work for, it makes complete sense.

I know the Sanchez haters want him gone, but rushing off the roster without logical thought doesn't mean it will be true, or a smart move.
They don't want to throw away the season as a developmental one until we have to. Right now it is all about winning.

    What was lost (Harrell): Nothing.

What was gained (Quinn): Very very little.

    Net Change: Gain.

    So whats the problem?

Sanchez guys should LOVE this, it gives us that "veteran backup" they always say an NFL cannot go into a season without, given that Sanchez is hurt (for now at least).

Week #1: Smith, Quinn (lol), Simms demoted to #3. Sanchez inactive.

Wouldn't be how I'd do it, I'd say the Jets are better off with Smith #1, Simms #2, Whothe****cares #3, but thats just me.

Where does it say its useless? He was signed to backup because Sanchez isn't healthy now. Yikes.

He looked 18 but was much older. I don't think he threw one pass and got a few checks.

For the record, I'm going to say this is a "quote" pulled strait from Bob's ass. Made up from scratch, what Bob wants to say, not what any Jets QB would/did say, typical media story-creation.

"Person familier with Jets QBs" - what does that mean? It doesn't say someone who is in Jets organization, it just says someone familier with QBs. If someone within the football structure felt that way about Quinn, he wouldn't have been signed in the first place.

It's useless because he's crap as the quote confirms, he's worse than Sanchez and doesn't know our offense. If Geno goes down, we are better off using Matt Simms as a #2 and signing a developmental, young #3 with potential.

please just cut Mark..Tank for Teddy in full effect?

No because you need an experienced QB on the roster. Period. 3 young QBs is asking for trouble.
