Man, Leon was such an exciting player on those lil dump off screens, until "it" happened.

I always loved Leon, plus we do need a return guy, so I voted yes.

I voted no. We can't live in the past. I'd like to have Bell back though.

So Alex Green is the 3rd string RB. What did he do in the preseason? I watched the games but dont remember seeing him.

Why the hell not? He was my favorite player when he was here. No question.

Green actually looked good him and Washington would be good in this system. If we sign Washington IMO it would likely mean we are thinking about cutting Goodson and wiping him off our FA pickups. Keller getting injured and Moore retiring are very bad if our GM was wanting those comp picks. If he can cut Goodson who is going to be useless till week 8-9 anyway he just may do it. That and it opens up a ST guy so we arent seeing Kerley on punts.

Also, need some good vets in the locker room to mentor the youngsters. Leon's certainly not a long term signing, but for this year, I personally believe he's a good signing. He's not a fair catch guy like what we have Ben seeing quite a bit of these days.

YES, I was extremely disappointed when we traded him and drafted McKnight in 2010, and we could use a return man now that McKnight is fully gone and Kerley is too valuable to our offense to use regularly in that role. Plus, he could provide a nice change of pace to Ivory and Powell.
