Latest wrf - nmm which baseically a higher resolution Nam model is depicting tstms training on same path...like trains on a train track from LONG ISLAND SOUND TO FOXBORO AND BOSTON SUBURBS. The Hrrr high resolution rapid refresh model which is the other of those 2 high resolution mesoscale models shows no rain till 03 - 06z between 11 - 2am.

There is a strong trough / neutral titlt / meaning north - south along the cold front which is moving across the great lakes right now. Pre frontal and frontal storms could definitely cancel tonight's game. Stay tuned for updates.http://www.spc.noaa.gov/

****ing Kraft and Belichek. Injury list a mile long, the pig is ripe, and those bastards bust out the weather machine to get the game cancelled.

The wrf - nmm is a very good model guidance which is run 2x a day from the Nam north americam model. The high resolution is baseically like a camera with a better resolution and can capture small scale attention like tstm location and movement.

If the game is cancelled, would they just play Friday night? Saturday? Sunday? Make it up during the bye week?

If this is true, this game is going to be very sloppy, especially if the wind gets involved.

Both teams will try to run the ball and score.

This is not denver. The denver situation was upslope wind se winds up the front range of the rockies which squeezed diurnal or day storms. This situation is being supported by a strong u shape trough and cold front... which will linger the storms for a long time likely from the start point through the night with a tstm cluster every 30 mins. Situation is looking bleek.

That's fine. The rain will hide Brady's tears.

Im confused. In your first post you said 50-50 and now you say you doubt it will be gotten in? Let me explain the difference....im "50-50" between getting egg salad or tuna salad for lunch...i "doubt" that when i go to watch the game at a bar tonight that a hot young girl will demand sex from me in the bathroom at halftime.

I remember your work from Snowpacalypse 2013....which leads me to ask you this: If you had to choose a weatherman to have sex with, would it be Sam Champion or Storm Fields?

Go with the tuna....I put mustard on mine, which most people find objectionable, but I really enjoy.

Just looked at NFL cancellation history other then strikes etc the only game cancelled because of weather was on December 26, 2010, a Sunday Night Football game between the Vikings and Eagles in Philadelphia was postponed to Tuesday, December 28, due to a snow emergency. And that was because most fans couldn't make it.. Lightning may clear the field for awhile unless the storm stays over foxboro for a extended time would there be a cancellation.
