    Cart, horse.

If MM calls run plays, then Geno isn't throwing passes that bounce off WR hands.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! THIS WAS A WIN FOR THE JETS IF OUR OC HAD A BRAIN IN HIS STUPID HEAD!!!

Not entirely. And I believe I've been saying that all offseason. But apparently, a good QB can make anyone look like a good receiver. They elevate the play of those around them.

I haven't seen Tom Brady doing much "elevating" these past two weeks. Tom Brady, the only reason Bill Belichick has ever won anything (according to so many on this board), seems to be missing his talented receiving options.

MM is too pass happy and Chris Ivory was way under utilized. Geno Smith deserves blame for timing and decision making but the Jets weakness is their targets in the passing game. Gates, Spadola and Ben Obomanu are not reliable. If you can get Holmes healthier with Kerley and Winslow. That would help but the Jets right now really needed a quality and clutch veteran like Braylon Edwards. These WR's cost the Jets.

BS. You're asking him to do more with a rookie QB that was playing in his second game as a pro? On top of that had almost a 2 to 1 time of possession advantage? Those are much betters numbers than anyone could have expected from the kid. Not to mention Geno's 3 picks were mostly like punts. Patsies got the ball back every time deep on their half of the field.

Not condoning the 3 picks. Definitely something Geno needs to work on. But be reasonable in what you are asking for with a train wreck of an offense and a rookie QB.

    That's a very true statement.

I disagree, when the field was dry WR were not making plays when the field get wet we throw the ball more done we run. We know GENO can throw but the 4th hits and you can see from Powell runs he was gaining more yards done the beginning of the game. If Powell is successful with does runs bring in Ivory to me would gain a whole lot more and put the Pats on their heels. GENO at that time would have better opportunities to throw and probably even make run plays of his own. Just saying ...

MARTY!!! RUN THE DAMN BALL!!! It was that simple. The Pats were getting tired and Ivory was starting to break them down if they would've kept pounding away. It's not fare to Geno to have him trying to make something happen when it wasn't there. This is why Rookies make mistakes. You put them in bad situations and they try to force it. That wouldn't happen if they went with the run or more short plays, screens etc. Too much down field. This WCO is supposed to be more about short pass YAC.

Rex is now 3-7 against the Pats. But the loss is on first-year OC Marty. Can't blame Rex.

Defense played lights out. Geno played alright, despite the 3 picks. Some of the play calling was really bad 2nd half. Ivory was pounding the defense, then was left on the sidelines. Geno had his hands tied with all the WR drops. Gates/Hill had rough games. On the bright side, MM schemed them open all game long, just gotta focus on holding onto the ball. I don't understand Geno's pick on 3rd down in FG territory. Game was definitely played to our strengths, we just let it slip. Chin up guys
