    RIP Ken Norton

I hoped I'd find this thread started already because it's something I usually just don't like to do, but I was a big fan and would like to pay respects to a great boxer and an even better man. I remember when he broke Ali's jaw(of whom I was not a big fan of at the time) live on the Wide World of Sports when I was ten years old. He had a crazy fighting style where he hid behind his crossed his forearms and he would lunge out this stance with a wicked hook. Those were the days of the legendary heavyweights before cable and ppv came along.

He was an Ex marine I believe. He beat Ali and then got knocked out by Foreman. Ali beat Foreman and then in a very close fight Ali won. I thought Norton beat Ali, it was that close.

RIP Ken as sorry he had a couple of years in ill health! Was something else I heard! Not much of a boxing fan.

You didn't raise any kids? You were't responsible for laughter? That's what kept me sharp; engaging my kid's elastic sense of logic.

32green is a master storyteller; you can tell he keeps 'em entertained.
