    Winters to start over Ducasse

I'm told #Jets are going to go with rookie OL Brian Winters over the inconsistent Vlad Ducasse.

Thank god. I don't care how bad Winters is, he couldn't be worse than handsome vlad.

I hope Winters has improved..because this is a move that needed to be made....

Big Vlad made some strides this offseason....but he whiffs way to often in Pass pro and commits too many penalties....he's gonna get Geno killed

At least we'll have the memory of him shutting down Wilfork.

Anyone still debating if vlad could block a 2009 kris jenkins?

But.but..but..why? Is it because he keeps fu*cking up. First Milner now Ducasse. Geno better get his act together. I think the continual offensive mistakes are wearing on Rex. As they should be.

Probably the right time for this move, as Vlad has regressed after a decent start to the season. We'd better hope that Winters has come on a lot in the last few weeks though, because he looked pretty bad himself in pass-pro during the preseason.

This is so shocking because I read here that he was headed to the pro bowl.

LOL...seriously he had one good block against Wilfork and all of a sudden he is Alan Faneca.

He has been beyond bad these past two weeks. Winters didn't have a good preseason, but he was mostly sandwiched between Schladuerlaff and Aboushi (feel like i'm in the spelling bee), so it should be much easier with Mangold and Brick.

If the Jets somehow keep it close & look to pound the small Falcon front 7 with the running game in the 4th quarter, don't be surprised to see Vlad get some snaps.
Vlad with his power could be a great 6th lineman on goaline & such but he's so DUMB he never seems to get off on the right snap count.
But, he's still good in the run game to toss a few of those lightazz Falcon defenders around.

Good thing they found their scapegoat for Geno's pathetic performances. lmao

Get ready for a big dropoff in run blocking. And if Winters gives up as "many" sacks as Ducasse people should be satisfied because he's not gonna be any better in pass protection. We'll see who the next scapegoat is

Plus Winters missed time in camp and pre-season games with an injury so his development was set back a little.
