So much for Revis Island. He gets cut after this season.

and to think the jets got sheldon and another guy next year for him. i wonder why nobody has the guts to write that the jets may actually have done the right thing here.

Idzik's first move, trading Revis, looking like a good one.

Let it go already, you're like a guy stalking his ex GF. Besides when did Peter King become an expert at evaluating players.

There was almost no way, injured or not, that he could sustain the level of play he was playing at. When you cover guys like a glove and literally limit several of your opponents to 0 catches, the only way to go is down.

Revis will still be a great CB in my opinion, a true #1 and at the top of the league, but the aura of invincibility is gone and he's simply another guy who is one of the best at his position, but not on another planet of capability.

The trade was very, very prudent. We got great value after having Revis for most of his best years. We jettisoned him to save $ and got Richardson in return. This will probably turn out to be one of Idzik's best moves.

Revis is also playing zone coverage which is different from the Jets man on man defense. He was also rehabing in the off season which is more likely the reason he's not 100%.

Stop it. He coming off a shredded knee and hes 4 games back. Nobody was expecting him to play like the 2010 Revis. He will be back at the top of his game next year.

Was it a great move for the Jets? Yes. But dont come hear and tear the guy down with "he stinks now" crap. Where has intelligent posting gone?

Dude is coming back from injury, he will get better. With that said, I am happy with the deal we made now, when it happened I was questioning it.

Peyton Manning hasn't thrown 7 TD passes in 3 games now. He is falling off the cliff too.

Specifically what parts of his game are suffering to make you reach the conclusion that he's fallen off a cliff. Certainly not the opinion of one Patriots homer a quarter into a season with a new team with a zone system coming off of acl surgery right? Has he played poorly? Have you watched every bucs game with the all 22 app? Who has he been covering? Thanks.

Still the best CB in the game, just playing in the wrong system for a chaotic mess of a team.

Think you have to allow any player coming of a injury of that nature some time to get back into the swing of competing..... At the Top of his game, he shut down everyone....
Not taking anything away from other cbs.. up and coming..... but revis was so good, there was no sense in challeging him on the field..

Do you ever post anything that isn't just common sense?

Of course not... Revis had to do his thing, but Rex maximized his talent.

I don't know, Revis seemed pretty happy to leave the Jets Circus for the "family atmosphere" in Tampa.
