    Another day another hamstring

Looks like this team has a problem with conditioning, and the fact that
we've got all these Hammy issues with key players, really it's just business
as usual for this team, stupid coaches and dumb trainers.

These injuries are on the staff, I definitely saw Tone's injury coming,
Ivory is a walking Injury and should be on an intensive stretching program
with an eye on prevention, Tone needs to be limited and stretching during
breaks on the sideline, and working with a trainer during half time.

We definitely need a specialist on staff for conditioning and Injury Prevention.

This is the dumbest organization I have ever seen, I can't stand to watch our
offensive because it is so limited and predictable, our special teams pathetic
and we have a receivers coach who doesn't know how to catch the ball.

This is a playoff team with average coaches.

I already know exactly what the Jets will do offensively Monday night,
there will be no surprises and that guarantees a loss.

    Thanks Marty and Rex, dullards.

I agree we always have Hamstring injuries which can be minimized with the right conditioning. I know from coaching HS track kids that they happen mainly with football kids that do weightlifting and don't balance the leg muscles. The kids that do stretching etc. and no weights never seem to have that problem.

Several factors, often in play at the same time, can cause a strained hamstring.

As mentioned, an imbalance between the relative strength of the hamstrings and the quadriceps—the quads are naturally stronger than the hamstrings—and the amount of work they are able to perform at any moment could cause a strain.
Not warming up properly may add to the risk factor. “A cold, unstretched muscle that is required to contract at maximum intensity is at highest risk,” warns Ramin Modabber, MD, of the Santa Monica Orthppaedic and Sports Medicine Group.
If one or both sets of muscles are fatigued from training or the demand of the sport, they are even more vulnerable.
If you suddenly need an extra burst of speed (like legging out an infield hit in baseball, making an explosive move to the basket in basketball, sprinting to get the ball in soccer, or trying to escape a tackler in football), tremendous force is required of both the hamstrings and the quadriceps.
Put all four factors together at the same time — muscle imbalance, inadequate warm-up, fatigue, and a sudden need for speed—and you’ve created your own perfect storm for a pulled hamstring. Running in cold weather could make it even worse. And poor running technique can also contribute to an overload of the muscle and a strain.

The NFL is doing a good enough job of ruining the game we don't even more Jet fans doing the same. No weights, LMMFAO.

The heavy squats need to be balance with leg curls (hammy exercise) with heavy weight also. Stretching before and after lifting. Most weight lifting emphasizes the squats but not the leg curls.
