I bet if I looked hard enough, I could find something pretty close but I really have no interest. Common sense dictates that Rex wouldn't keep him around for 3 seasons unless he thought he could develop into a useful player. I know Rex mentioned Sapp in TC as someone who looks really good or words to that effect.

A little reminder of you calling me out for not having a link? Works both ways?

Common sense? That he's been here for three years, doesn't mean that they ever thought for a second he could be anything more that the last player on the roster. He filled a need and now he's replaced. Its what happens at the bottom of the roster.

Cimini with the hard hitting, insightful tweet.

There's actually a chance hes claimed.

I want to beat him to the punch:.

"I spoke with a personnel exec from another team thinks there's a chance Sapp could be claimed."

"He has been a handful for us to block," Ryan said. "The young man's a guy who keeps going like this."

"He's worked so well that it's, 'Let's see what he can do,' " Ryan said. "And we will. We'll find out. He's going to be active for us and we'll watch him chase the passer."

Sapp’s play has caught the attention of head coach Rex Ryan, who
said after Monday's practice: "I think Ricky's confident, I think he’s healthy. We'll be seeing what he can do. Certainly he jumped off in the scrimmage. He’s been doing a good job.”

That took me 2 minutes. I'll find more.
