    Good for him.

He's also nominated for rookie of the week and never say never moment of the week.

I'm going to the Steeler game with some Swiss friends. I hope the stadium is rocking. This team could use some home field advantage.

LOL at people who wanted Romo to get it. Do they not realize that his team lost because the threw a interception to end the game? That alone should take you out of the running. If you lose the game for your team, you can't be offensive player of the week. That wouldn't make sense.

Maybe the league is considering what Peyton's norm is, and the norm of what was expected from Geno?

If we're going on stats, Peyton should be OP of the week, just about every week.

I think a lot of it has to do with Geno driving down the field in the clutch for the win.

With a QB rating of 147 on MNF on the road, he deserves it.

Having such a successful trip in Atlanta is going to build his confidence for the remainder of the season.

Congrats, now more of the same please.

Congrats to him, 75%+ completion, 200 or so yards and 3 TD's without a turnover is a pretty great game for any QB.

A nice change from his previous game, so I hope that propels him and motivates him, knowing he can "do it" in this league.

Now he just has to do it regularly.

Jets QB Mark Sanchez named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
    on November 24, 2010 at 11:55 AM, updated November 24, 2010 at 12:01 PM

Mark Sanchez, praised by his teammates and head coach alike this week, has been named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week.

The second-year quarterback led the Jets on an improbable comeback against the Texans in last week's 30-27 win, driving 72 yards in 45 seconds for a game-winning touchdown to receiver Santonio Holmes. The drive was buoyed by a 42-yard strike to Braylon Edwards, an impeccable throw by Sanchez.

Sanchez completed 22-of-38 passes for 315 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The 8-2 Jets face the 2-8 Bengals tomorrow.

Geno named AFC Offensive Player of The Week

Peyton says hello but I guess he can afford to share. Guess there is no league conspiracy against us after all.

Well done Geno. Anybody know the last time a Jet QB got this?

Through 5 games Geno had how many INTs? How many for Sanchez?

    You're just not sayin' that.
