No way Nelson can stretch a field like Hill!
Nelson is like a skinny TE, I like him though, comes cheap & made some great plays Sunday.
The guy who really benefits from a Holmes/Hill/Kerley combo is Cumberland.
Its good to have a rotation which is what we really needed. With MM we are dfinitely throwing the ball more, running deeper routes ect.
You need a GROUP of Wrs to do that.
    good point!

As for Santonio, while i can't stand him as a person, he is our best WR. People seem to forget some of the plays he was making before he got hurt. Is he an elite WR? Not even close. Is he a servicable #1/top end 2WR? Yes.
sure you can do it, but where the jets were picking in the 2nd, the other logical wr pick was randle.

he was limping after that drop by the sideline, I think he was trying to get both feet inbound and had a misstep

They also traded up for Hill, giving up a 5th and 7th round selection for him.

At this point with both the hammy and the foot, they should target Holmes coming back after the bye week, which would get him as close to 100% as possible for the stretch run. No sense rushing him.
