they knew the way to beat the jets was in the air. the patriots nearly did it and the saints will do it too.

Not to get all nit picky, but I went with 3 TD/PAT as criteria or 21 points. 48-20 = 20

But the focus should be that during last year 25% of the games were a complete embarrassment to the organization and fans. Four depressing, embarrassing weeks of football. Not to mention the 3 straight losses to let the season slip away. Just like 2011.

But this year it will be different...? Or is it next year that will be different?

Not sure what kind of math you're using when predicting 2 more blowouts. Rex has coached 4 and 1/2 seasons, which is 72 games. According to your blowout criteria, we've had 9 blowouts, which is exactly 1 blowout per 8 games....2 per season on average. We've already had 2 this year....which is our average, sooo why are we due for 2 more?

I think he's saying it increases exponentially, so 8 this year, twenty something next year, etc.

Lol, that's the first thing I noticed as well. Bunch-a-geniuses we've got running around on these boards; it only took till the 10th post!

I expect to see at least 2 more of these blowout type losses this season. Next week might well be the second of season.
I'd just like to show how much of a fool you are.

    45-17 against Green Bay

31-13 against Cincinnati (if you want to count this as a blowout)

    34-0 against Atlanta

    2013

What thread starter didn't point out is jets/Rex come back fighting hard after blowouts.. Rex doesn't let this team quit unlike many of its weak fan base..

That unbelievable low is what made Jan'11 that much better.

It's like getting laid for the first time in a few months, or getting laid for the fourth time in a week. Both are awesome by nature, but which experience is better?

If you do not understand this concept by now, green is probably not your color. Or you are just miserable by nature, one or the other.
