I was told this team was 100% Brady, so when Brady sucks worse than Geno, how are they in front of the Jets? Couldn't be coaching, Belichick is a fraud.
I have to say that I was one of those people that diminished Belichick based on Bradys greatness, but no one can deny this might be his best coaching year based on all of the Patriots injuries & Bradys play.
I still can't wrap my head around the fact that the Pats defense (rag tag bunch) has caused a TO in 35 straight games!
I think Belichick is one of those coaches that can take yours & beat his.
I think the guys a huge douche but he is one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Seriously, how long are these Past fans going to be allowed to come over here and constantly talk trash?

Who cares, to be honest. Other than a few good ones who genuinely like JI better than any Pats forum, just think about how pathetic your life must be to go to a NEW YORK JETS WEBSITE to talk trash. You have nothing else to look at on the internet? Porn? The news? Legos? Their $2.47 bank account statement?

    I hope you're right.

My other dream sequence would be the Pats winning the AFCE at 9-7 or 8-8, and the Broncos at 14-2 coming to Foxborough for a game in round one. The Pats go on to beat the Horses and in the SB beat the Saints, a team that cheated worse than the Pats and has received a free ride ever since.

I don't see much if any trash talk coming from opposing fans here.

Given the strength of schedule I don't see the Ravens as the 6th seed, unfourtunately I can see the fins sneaking in as the 6th

You serious, doe? This is a pretty light-hearted thread and the trashing of the Pats started before I got here.

Projecting the Seahawks at 10-6 means they would have to go 3-5 the rest of the way with 5 games at home, including home games against the Vikes and Bucs - I dont see that happening. I think Seattle wins the division and whoever has the home field between Seattle and the Saints will represent the NFC in the SB. If I had to choose one, I would pick the Saints. I think both are more complete teams than SF.

You saying the Broncs are a wild card at 14-2?

And nobody cheated worse than the Pats.

If Cutler didn't get injured, I'd give the Bears an edge for the #6 seed. The Cowboys are the only half decent team in the NFC East, regardless of what any amnesiac Vagiants fan will tell you but they'll get killed in the wildcard round.
Alex Smith was a great move by the chiefs; maybe we should have picked him up, not that Geno isn't the real deal, we just haven't had a savy vet since Farve, and he fell off the cliff cause he was too old, maybe we get the wild card, don't count out San DIego, they have the toughest schedule though.

In the AFC I think the Broncos take the top seed. Chiefs are a good team, but they're a product of their easy schedule. I could see them being one and done on the road.

2 seed is between the Pats and Colts. Pats have been able to consistently beat the bad teams despite their deficiencies, but they obviously haven't been overly impressive. Colts have shown they can play with anyone but have a few head scratching losses. They're much worse on the road.

Bengals get the 4 seed in a weak AFC North. Injuries and Andy Dalton will derail them from being anything more.

6 seed is the one big tossup -- the only playoff spot that isn't already decided. If I were betting I'd take the Chargers, but obviously the Titans, Ravens, Dolphins, and Jets are still in the running. You can't even completely rule out the Raiders or Steelers.

The team that has the best chance to get the last wildcard is the Ravens or The Texans. (2-5) in the AFC. Here Texans schedule.

Texans are absolutely not the front runner to make the playoffs. Like you pointed out, they're 2-5 -- they'd have to go a MINIMUM of 7-2 the rest of the way to make it. Their schedule isn't that easy -- I don't even think they beat the Cardinals next weekend, let alone the Colts this weekend or games against the Pats and Broncos.

At 2-5 of course they aren't the front runner but they still are the most talented team competing for that last playoff spot.(Beat the Chargers and Titans head to head) . The good thing for the Texans is they are 0-3 in the NFC. So that means they are 2-2 in AFc conference.(the less losses in the conference the better- Jets have 4 already) The Colts losing Reggie Wayne for the season is a big blow to that team. Checkout A Luck numbers with and without Reggie wayne.( they are in trouble) That Texan team is more than capable of going on a big time run.( do they have a Qb that won't lose the game for them). So let me get this straight the Jets could lose this week and be 4-5 and they are still in the playoff hunt , but the texans are done with five losses.

Btw they have to go 5-2. (already give them two wins against Jaguars)

When the texans beat up on the patriots than tell me how lousy a team they are. All Schaub had to do was protect the football (kick the field goal) and the game was over against Seattle. They have had some brutal losses this season, that Schaub has given away.

What did Schaub do to give away that 38-13 shellacking at the hands of a mediocre (at best) Rams team? This is not a playoff team.

Not as optimistic as you are about the Texans' chances against NE either. The Patriots have always been a terrible matchup for the Texans. Last year, Texans players and Houston-area pundits were talking about the big statement they were going to make in Foxboro. Here's what happened:

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=321210017

And, unlike this year, Houston actually had a decent team.
